This course focuses on the display of Guangxi traditional folk musical instruments and the cultural connotations. The course is filmed in the distinctive intangible cultural inheritance project "Seven Mysterious Music Pavillion" in Guilin Tourism Univeristy. This project is based on the improvement of Zhuang, Dong, Miao, Yao and Jing musical instruments, and has completed six generations of improved new musical instruments of Guangxi ethnic minorities. It constructed the "four voice parts" of 'wind', 'string', 'dial' and 'percussion', with a total of 288 instruments, and formed the "Seven Mysterious" orchestra. This series of minority Musical Instruments has been authenticated by the state. The ‘Seven Mysterious Music Pavillion’ series instruments have bright and crisp timbre, rich tone, wide range and strong expressive force, creating favorable conditions for the symphonic development of ethnic musical instruments.
