Mr. Yu Guangzhong once wrote in his Nostalgia: "When I was young, Nostalgia was a tiny, tiny stamp, Me on this side, Mother on the other side..." Everyone may have different understanding of nostalgia, but it can be like a wireless line that touches the hearts of everyone who leaves hometown. In recent years, with the development of rural economy, the living conditions and environment in rural areas have changed greatly. Nowadays, rural life is getting better and better, and changes are taking place with each passing day. Everyone who has left still hopes to return to their hometown, a place that they will never forget and can keep a trace of their past memories. For them, hometown is the homeland that they can't live without and the nostalgia that they can't eliminate. It is said that "the most beautiful scenery is the landscape hometown and the kindest people are the folks at home". Nowadays, more and more young people choose to return to hometown to start businesses. While realizing their dreams, they drive the villagers to get employed and become rich, ending the nostalgia in mind. This course will outline the new scenes in countryside of contemporary China from three aspects: the nostalgia of Chinese people, the transformation of rural area of China from people leaving hometown to returning to hometown, and people's return to hometown.
