The remnants of the Shang dynasty known as Yinxu is located in the city of Anyang. With a history of 3,300 years, the world-famous site is the historical capital of the late Shang dynasty. It is the earliest ancient capital site in China that can be confirmed by documents, oracle bone scripts and archeological discoveries. Through Yinxu, we will explore the origin and development of the earliest documented Chinese capital and the earliest Chinese characters: oracle.
