Silk is one of the five national treasures in ancient China and the queen of fibers. Silk culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. If using five words to summarize silk culture, they are noble, rich, exquisite, soft and long-lasting. To promote silk culture and give more people the opportunity to learn about silk, we offer this course to deepen foreign students’ understanding of Chinese silk culture and recognizing Chinese traditional culture through teachers’ explanations and online visits.
