Chinese painting is a traditional form of painting in China. It is mainly created on Xuan paper and silk with Chinese brush dipped in water, ink and Pigment. In terms of content and artistic creation, Chinese painting reflects the ancients' understanding of nature, politics and philosophy. Traditional Chinese painting emphasizes "carefree brushwork without seeking similarity in shape", especial the Literati Painting. This lesson mainly focuses on the types, tools, composition and literati painting of traditional Chinese painting. From the works, we can realize that a complete work is composed of poetry, calligraphy, painting and printing, and we can better understand the expression way that painters of all dynasties express their feelings through things and integrate things with themselves.
