Welding terminology is the basis for learning welding technology. Welding is a machining method whereby atom binding of workpieces to be welded is realized by means of heat, pressure or both, with or without filler metal. The course will be addressed through four parts as followed, basic welding, fusion welding, pressure welding, and welding defect. Students will be able to explain welding technology and welding phenomena using specialized terms when they finished learning. Learning to use welding terms in welding work will lay a solid foundation for an in-depth study of welding technology theory and basic operation. We must learn to ensure attainment of general use of welding terms in daily work!
