Paper sculpture is a kind of art formed by paper, which is different from the well-known paper binding（Paper folded tribute for tomb sweeping.）. Paper binding is a kind of art made of bamboo skeleton and then pasted, while paper plastic is made of cardboard without skeleton, and then glued, colored and wiped. It can imitate copper, iron, porcelain and other materials, and can also produce the artistic effect of imitating ancient bronzes. This course shows the inheritance and charm of the current paper sculpture art by sorting out the historical heritage, modeling techniques, production techniques and cultural background of the paper sculpture.
