This course is mainly about the ideas of "winning by clever calculation" in Sun Tzu's Art of War. “Calculation before war” is a major feature of China’s ancient strategy. The first chapter of Sun Tzu’s the Art of War is named ”Laying Plans”, which reflects this characteristic. Most of the contents of Sun Tzu's Art of War talk about the rules of military use, but it also involves the content of "breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting", so this military work also shines with the rational brilliance of pacifism.
