This course is taught by the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. The aim of this course is to better inherit and protect the intangible culture and cultivate a sense of innovation through the redesign of leather materials. We hope to pass on the concept of environmental protection and continuously contribute Chinese wisdom in this course. Students are taught to make objects such as decorative pendants, jewellery, leather bags, pencil cases and key holders. As leather is waterproof and has a smooth surface so it is also easy to clean. Due to its characteristics, leather products are products with warmth and we hope students can make full use of the features of leather such as its the durability and softness and make it more fashionable and usable. Backstage recording courses include Chinese gourd carving and drawing techniques, and the process of making leather goods.
