Post plays an important role in promoting a country’s political, economic and cultural development, as well as international exchanges. China Post has a long history of development. According to oracle bone inscriptions, organized communication activities have appeared as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties. The course introduces the evolution history of Chinese characters “YOU” and “YI”, the historical stories related to the two characters, the development of modern post and Chinese modern postal service in China.
