Hubei Museum was established in 1953. It is located in the East Lake Scenic Area, Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province. Hubei Museum has housed more than 200,000 pieces (sets) of various cultural relics and specimens, including nearly 1,000 pieces (sets) of first-class cultural relics. The collection not only has a strong and distinctive local feature, but also bears the characteristics of the times, which basically reflects the appearance of the ancient culture in Hubei. This course breaks the previous narration of Chu culture with materials as the main category, by absorbing new research results and increasing the historical knowledge of Chu. The spiritual connotation of Chu people’s “blazing a trail” and “amazing the world with a single brilliant feat” should be highlighted, from material to spiritual and from literature to cultural relics to comprehensively display the history and culture of Chu State.
