Founded in 1941, Sichuan Museum is located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It serves as the largest comprehensive museum in Southwest China and occupies a key position in the national public museums in China. This course outlines the multiplication and cultural integration of ancient humans in the Sichuan Basin, which shows the formation process of the early civilization in the Sichuan Basin, where the dawn of the ancient civilization first shines upon. Following this, the Sanxingdui civilization gradually rose up in the Chengdu Plain and developed into an early city in the true sense, allowing the ancient Shu civilization to finally become the civilization center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River during the Bronze Age. Together with other early civilizations in the Yellow River Basin, it has become an important part of the pluralistic unity of the Chinese civilization.
