After entering the 21st century, China’s contemporary agriculture has undergone dramatic changes. Today Jurong, the national agricultural science and technology modernization pioneer county, represents the spirit of China’s contemporary agriculture and farmers. In recent years, Jurong’s modern agriculture has been promoted solidly, taking the in-depth implementation of the agricultural modernization project as the general grasp of the new pattern for the development of agriculture, the countryside and farmers, deepening rural reform, accelerating agricultural science and technology innovation, and promoting agricultural and rural work to a new level. The talents in the field of agriculture, represented by Mr. Zhao Yafu, have been developing agriculture with solid work, which is coupled with Jurong’s advantage of ecological resources. They actively explore new paths of supply-side structural reform of agriculture, which has opened a fast track for farmers to get rich. As one of the first universities which established College of Agricultural Engineering, Jiangsu University always attempts to explore the hilly areas of agricultural production mechanization and modernization. It has contributed a lot to the talent cultivation and technology innovation, as well as the income increase of farmers, agriculture development and rural stability. The two sides, both giving full play to their respective advantages, will work together in the construction of the current counties of the national agricultural science and technology modernization. In the process of vigorously promoting the construction of agricultural modernization, rural tourism is also an important direction. Meanwhile, special agricultural products have attracted a large number of tourists. Under the rural revitalization policy of the Communist Party of China, the concepts of enriching agriculture with science and technology, ecology, knowledge, and culture have been deeply rooted in people’s hearts, and promising results have been achieved. In China, modernized agricultural demonstration areas like Jurong in Zhenjiang abound, and agricultural development has made gratifying achievements.
