Li Bai is one of the greatest Chinese poets. He lived during the Tang Dynasty, when traveling were prevalent. These roads marked with a large number of poets' masterpieces are called ""Road of Tang poetry"". Li Bai spent his whole life in wandering and drifting, writing poems and making friends, as well as seeking opportunities to realize his political ideals in his wanderings. His footprints spread all over the motherland, creating many poems that praise of nature and friendship. In this course, six poems of Li Bai during his traveling will be selected and sang with the music of Mr. Jiang Fan, so that we can walk along and enjoy the road of Tang poetry. Meanwhile, we’ll lead students to follow the footsteps of Li Bai as he traveling through the famous landscapes of China, from Sichuan to Hubei's Jingmen Mountain and Yellow Crane Tower, and from the Taohuatan in Jing County, Anhui Province, to Shanzhong in eastern Zhejiang Province and the banks of the Ruoye River. From which we can experience the profound friendship of Li Bai's farewell poems, indulge the unrestrained and elegant poetry of Li Bai, and appreciate the landscape and humanities of different places.
