This program represents the dress patterns of men and women during the Song dynasty with reference to the scene in the painting Along the River During the Qingming Festival, in which hundreds of workers wearing hundred kinds of clothes. The program also analyzes the classic dress patterns of the Song people, up to the officials and down to the folks, paying particular attention to women’s dressing features, which is outwearing, lightweight and free.
