This course takes the regional cultural expression of the coastal park landscape as the main line, and discusses how to make the urban coastal landscape design show its unique cultural connotation under the guidance of urban park design theory. Taking the landscape design of Weihai Coastal Park as an example, the application of design elements such as regional residential architecture, regional history and culture, regional art concept, and native plants in Binhai Park is analyzed. In the landscape design of Coastal Park, it takes regional natural characteristics as the background, takes regional ethnic traditional culture such as fisherman culture and marine culture as the basis, and takes local materials, cultural thinking, spatial layout and expression with local characteristics integrated with modern advanced technology and scientific and technological means to create a coastal park landscape with regional cultural characteristics and coexistence with the development of the times.
