The representative symbols of the excellent traditional Chinese culture are the images, symbols or customs that are mostly recognized by Chinese people and embody the essence of the traditional Chinese national culture. When we asked our foreign friends what are the characteristics of Chinese culture, most of them replied : a long history, a strong family concept, Confucianism, peace and harmony, the unity of man and nature, and collectivism. Therefore，the Chinese cultural symbols corresponding to these characteristics are as vast as the sea of stars : Chinese porcelain, chopsticks, paper cutting, tea art, Traditional Chinese medicine, Peking Opera, silk, martial arts, food... this class will lead the students into the grand view of Chinese culture, to understand and enjoy the Chinese cultural symbols.
