This course introduces Laozi's thought and philosophy with Taoism. The following knowledge is taught, such as Laozi and his thoughts, the origin and development of Taoism, the "Cave Heavens and blessed Lands" represented by Mount Tai and Mout Lao, and the Taoist so-called "worshiped gods" (Three Purity Gods, Jade Emperor, Four Auxiliary Gods, Three Divine Officials, The Gods in Four Orientations), "immortals" (Zhenwu the Great, Emperor Wenchang, Kui Star, Ma Zu, Bixia Yuanjun, The Eight Immortals, Gods of Wealth ) and the guardians (Emperor Guan, Wang Lingguan, God of the door, God of Kitchen, Gods of Town and Earth).
