Through the lesson, learners will be familiar with the traditional ethnic eating habits of Guizhou province and the food culture of the sour series in Qiandongnan, and understand the unique traditional delicacy of Miao and Dong people in Guizhou -- the sour soup fish. They will also be familiar with the following vocabularies, main sentence patterns and structures in Chinese. Basic Vocabulary appetite (食欲), abound with (盛产), boil (煮), delicacy (菜肴), fermentation (发酵), sour soup (酸汤), well-known (有名), abundant (丰富), unique (独特), extend (延伸), meanwhile (同时), then (接着), about (左右), do (干), as for (对于), in order to (为了……而) Through classroom explanations and after-school exercises, learners can increase their understanding of the food culture of Guizhou and the concept of “ecological food”, feel the charm of the food of Guizhou, and be able to share the topic in Chinese basically and correctly: introducing your favorite food.
