This course is divided into two periods. The first period introduces the life and major academic thoughts of Confucius, and the historical development and main contents of Confucianism. The second period mainly focuses on the influence of Confucian culture on TCM, Confucian medicine, Confucius medical culture and its influence on TCM and Chinese culture. The course brings students a better understanding about Confucianism and the influence of Confucian medical culture on TCM and Chinese culture.
