The various ethnic groups living here follow the seasons and use their wisdom to get ingredients from nature to create the colorful flavors of Guizhou. There are many traditional snacks in Guiyang, Guizhou, among which silk dolls are one of the most common delicacies in Guiyang, named because of their appearance which resembles a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. In addition to Guiyang, snacks from other regions of Guizhou are also very tasty and attractive. They include Zunyi mutton noodles, Shuicheng Laoguo, Kaili fish in sour soup, Dong oil tea, etc. This course aims to use the rich and diverse cuisine of Guizhou as a key to open the door for international students to explore the food culture of Guizhou and experience the unique charm of Chinese cuisine.
