This course, combining classrooms teaching indoors and outdoors, aims to expose the learners to the origin of Cang Jie Family Banquet---Three Tables, the triple cultures such as diet, etiquette and folklore. Besides, it will offer them an opportunity to appreciate the dish styles, food features and the process of the unique banquet. Meanwhile, it will provide the learners a chance to study Chinese dish names, legends and folktales associated with Three Tables. Thus, the course is to reach a double goal that learners may promote their Chinese language skills and experience the unique local banquet culture as well.
