2The Yellow River is the main birthplace of Chinese civilization. Thousands of years ago, ancient Chinese farmers sowed their first seed and harvested their first grain near the Yellow River. It is because of the Yellow River that the grain is born, China is what it is today.
黄河是中华文明的最主要发源地，几千年前，古老的中国农民在黄河边播下了第一粒种子，收获了第一粒粮食。正是因为有黄河孕育五谷，才有今天的中国。
