Chinese folk music has a unique sense of beauty and style. For thousands of years, it has been continuously integrated and developed, thus accumulating a rich cultural heritage of music, which is a precious cultural wealth of the Chinese nation. This course will explain the different forms of national instrumental ensemble art in Chinese national music, including traditional folk music and various modern and contemporary large, medium and small ensemble art forms. Emphasis will be placed on the appreciation and analysis of the musical style and sound combination of various ensemble art forms.
