With the reform and opening up of China, the outstanding achievements in politics, economy, education, culture and other fields, especially the spirit of inclusiveness, vitality and enterprising emanating from China's contemporary popular culture, have deeply attracted young students around the world to experience the infinite charm of China's contemporary popular culture. In view of the timeliness, diversity and other characteristics of popular culture, as well as the limitation of class hours, this topic adopts mainly from the following three perspectives to show the characteristics of contemporary Chinese popular culture: (1) Internet popular culture; （2） Film and TV culture; （3） Lifestyle and popular culture.
