Hunan cuisine is one of the eight major cuisines in China. It has formed a cuisine as early as the Han Dynasty. Hunan cuisine is fine, with a wide range of ingredients, changing tastes, and a variety of varieties; it focuses on spicy, fragrant, soft and tender; By introducing the dishes of Hunan cuisine: lucky shrimp balls, fried meat with chili, hot and sour squid roll, sweet and sour pork, pearl meatballs and Dong’an chicken, etc., let overseas students understand Hunan cuisine, feel Chinese food, and inspire them to learn Chinese learning enthusiasm.

湘菜,又叫湖南菜,是中国历史悠久的八大菜系之一,早在汉朝就已经形成菜系。湘菜制作精细,用料上比较广泛,口味多变,品种繁多;品味上注重香辣、香鲜、软嫩;制法上以煨、炖、腊、蒸、炒诸法见称。通过介绍湘菜代表菜品:吉利虾球、辣椒炒肉、酸辣鱿鱼卷、糖醋里脊、珍珠肉丸和东安仔鸡等,让海外学生了解湘菜,感受中国的美食,从而激发他们学习中文的学习热情。
