Xiaozhuan is a unified Chinese writing form created after Qin Shihuang unified the six kingdoms (222 BC). Xiaozhuan is more symbolic, which reduces the difficulty of writing and reading. The formulation of Xiaozhuan is the first systematic process of standardizing the writing of characters in China. In this class, we have learned about the far-reaching influence of unified writing on Chinese history and culture through Xiaozhuan.
