The course will focus on the crossing of modern acupuncture research and medical sciences frontier, and will explain the scientific basis of modern acupuncture and moxibustion with the modern medicine language. The main contents include as follows: -The function and mechanism of body pathophysiology reflecting on superficial acupoint region; -Neural and vascular routes of structural acupoints regulating the function of the body. -The introduction of the mechanism and clinical characteristics of local and systemic effects of acupuncture and moxibustion will be integrated into the course contents mentioned above.
