人有三宝精气神(上)

Course Syllabus 课程章节

1

The lesson explains the reasons why Traditional Chinese Medicine regards"Jing", "Qi" and "Shen" as "Three Treasures" of our body by introducing their origins, concepts, developments and their applications in Chinese daily life and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is the first half of the lesson. First, it analyzes the meanings and applications of "Jingqishen (vitality)" and "Jingshen (spirited) " and the difference between them. Second, it explains the origin, meanings, extensions and vocabulary of "Qi", and then extends to the Ancient Chinese Philosophy "Qi Monism" and the " Qi Theory" of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Third, it shows the origin, meaning, extension of the characters "Jing" and "Qing" and the characters and words related to them, and introduces the "Jing theory" of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It proves that learning Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Chinese language can help foreign students to understand the knowledge deeper from the root.
