The Made in China 2025 clearly proposes to take the marine engineering equipment and high technology shipbuilding as ten key development areas. Robot welding technology is of strategic significance to improve production efficiency, guarantee product quality, reduce the production cost and transformation and upgrading of shipbuilding industry in China. There are a large number of grid structures with typical T-joints to be welded in shipbuilding. This course teaches the equipment components of the OTC arc welding robot and the process and basic operation of robotic welding of plate T-joint robot. The students will gain a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of welding robot equipment and the basic process of robotic welding of plate T-joint robot.
