Welding testing can be divided into destructive testing and non-destructive testing. Destructive testing results in permanent damage to the raw materials or products under test, such as bending test. Non-destructive testing does not damage the raw materials under test. NDT is a widely used non-destructive testing method. NDT is to test raw materials and products through physical and chemical techniques on the premise of not damaging the subjects under test, thus evaluating the quality level and safety degree of the subjects under test. This course will cover the terminology involved in NDT of welded joints, with a focus on four NDT terms such as ultrasonic testing and radiographic testing.

焊接检测可以分为破坏性检测和非破坏性检测。破坏性检测会对被检测的原材料或产品造成永久性破坏,比如弯曲测试。非破坏性检测方法则不会破坏被检测的材料,其中无损检测是非破坏性检测中使用最为广泛的一类方法。无损检测,是以不损害被检测对象为前提,运用物理和化学相关技术对材料和产品进行检测,借以评价被检测对象质量等级和安全程度。本次课程将讲解焊接接头无损检测所涉及到的术语,其中将对超声检测、射线检测等四种无损检测术语做重点介绍。
