Chinese food culture is a summation of the material and spiritual wealth that created and accumulated by the Chinese nations in the process of long-term production and consumption of food and beverage products. As students who study Chinese from overseas, it is of great significance to understand Chinese long history of food and its customs, to know the connotation of Chinese dietary culture, and to deepen the impression of Chinese culture, and it would enhances their noble aesthetic taste. By introducing the origin and development of Chinese food and its customs, make the students to increase their knowledge, expand their horizons, also make them understand Chinese long history of food and its customs, and by explaining the characteristics of Chinese food culture to make them receive the influence of China's excellent food culture.

中国饮食文化是中华民族在长期的饮食品的生产与消费实践过程中所创造和积累的物质财富和精神财富的总和,作为学习汉语的外国留学生,应了解中国悠久的饮食历史、饮食民俗,了解中国饮食文化的内涵,对中国文化进一步加深印象、提升自己高尚的审美情趣。
