This course is designed to help participants of Chinese Bridge Delegation to master everyday Chinese expressions related to their study and life in China through open online live broadcasts and real-life recordings. When learning the language, participants will acquire social and cultural knowledge and get familiar with daily life scenes of Chinese people. The course consists of two modules: Chinese Basics and Learning Chinese through Live Scenes. There are 4 sessions in Chinese Basics, which are broadcast live. There are 5 thematic units in Learning Chinese through Live Scenes, namely Studying, Dining, Hotel Check-in, Getting around, and Shopping，with a total of 20 sessions which are delivered via live broadcasts and live recordings. Each unit contains 3 sections: Lead-in, Watching and Learning. In addition, each unit is equipped with Word Bank, Cultural Tips and Exercises according to its teaching content, which provide common vocabulary, sentences and cultural background related to the real scenes of life.
