The introduction to the special course on COVID-19 prevention and control of Online Sightseeing Tour of Greater Bay Area This course is based on the background of the COVID-19 since 2020, and introduces the anti-epidemic life of people in the Greater Bay Area from three aspects: life under the epidemic, technology empowerment and epidemic prevention policy and the spirit of combating the COVID-19 epidemic. The course combines videos, slides, and teacher's explanations to provide students with an intuitive and perceptible learning experience, helping students to have a deep understanding of the situation of Chinese life under the epidemic, and to understand the concept of combating the COVID-19 epidemic. "Life under the Epidemic" shows the scenes of life in the early stage of the outbreak of COVID-19, the pictures of people joining hands to fight the epidemic, and the recovery of people's life in the period of regular epidemic prevention and control. At the same time, through interviews with foreign friends living in the Greater Bay Area, we show the lives of foreign friends in China, which reflect the spirit of Chinese and foreign friends to help each other and jointly resist the COVID-19. "Technology Empowerment and Epidemic Prevention Policy" introduces China's epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic measures from both technology and policy perspectives, and explains the emergence and popularization of China's Travel QR code, Health QR code, Novel Coronavirus vaccine, and Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT)，helping students understand the "red, yellow and green" tricolor code dynamic management system, quarantine measures, Dynamic Reset policy. This part also includes "the Epidemic Prevention Dictionary", which introduces new vocabulary related to epidemic prevention policies. “The spirit of combating the COVID-19 epidemic” mainly introduces the spirit of "putting people's lives first", "when trouble occurs at one spot, help comes from all quarters" and "a sense of mission for humanity" in China's epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic process. With the support of these spirits, the Chinese people have gradually realized the regular epidemic prevention and control. It ensures a normal and convenient life for people. After learning this course, students will see the daily life of the whole China under the epidemic through the anti-epidemic life in the Greater Bay Area, understand the defense measures China has taken in the face of COVID-19, the science and technology to prevent and treat it, feel the Chinese spirit behind the epidemic prevention and anti-epidemic, so as to deepen the understanding of the current China.
