Changchun Experimental Middle School was founded in 1949 and is one of the first batch of national civilized campuses, state-level demonstration high schools, and the first batch of key high schools in Jilin Province as well. The school takes "building an innovative high school that meets the growth needs of teachers and students" as its educational philosophy, and vigorously develops the "three-dimensional international" development strategy. In 2014, it cooperated with the Machiben International School of Lesotho, South Africa to establish a Confucius Classroom, which taught 2,000 local students in Lesotho, teacher training, civil servants and other training.
