Jilin Provincial Museum of Natural History, established on May 12, 1987, is a comprehensive natural history museum. There are seven exhibition areas, respectively, “the Soul of the Mountain”, “the Charm of the Forest”, “Butterfly Valley”, “the Spirit of Birds”, “the Fun of Animals”, “Fossil World” and “Mammoth”. The museum mainly reflects the biodiversity and natural resources of Jilin Province, including animal, plant, ancient extinct life, rock, mineral, soil, human body and other specimen categories. Most of the specimens mainly reflect the natural environmental resources of Jilin Province.
