This course introduce the development history of traditional Chinese acupuncture and moxibustion and the Chinese traditional culture contained therein. The video consist three parts. Firstly, you will learn the development process of acupuncture and moxibustion. Secondly, you will comprehend the traditional concept of “harmony between man and nature” behind the names of meridians and acupoints and the romanticism of the ancient Chinese people who named said acupoints. Finally, you will understand the origin and development of ashi point, and perceived the concept of holism of“the internal disease is bound to be showed externally”in Chinese traditional medicine. Introduction and integration of the trigger point theory is the embodiment of Chinese traditional medicine and essence such as inclusiveness, development and innovation of the traditional culture.
