Hebei, also known as "Ji," is located in the North China Plain. It is the only province in China with a mix of highlands, mountains, hills, plains, lakes, and seashores. In this course, we will learn about the cities of Handan, Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Cangzhou, Qinhuangdao, Chengde, and Zhangjiakou. We will also take a look at the idiom culture of Handan, the food culture of Baoding, the Wuqiao Acrobatics in Cangzhou, and the intangible cultural heritage of Hebei as a whole.
