Cultivation is to deep plow, crush and loosen soil to turn the crop residues, insect pests and the damaged topsoil layer deeply, so that the low-layer soil that has been restored for a long time will be turned to the surface. The condition of soil will meet the requirements of crop planting after this work. Cultivation is mainly completed by the tillage machinery, namely moldboard plow, the harrow and the rotary tiller. In this lesson, the basic structure, types and working principles of the split plough, the harrow and the rotary tiller will be introduced. The actual operation video of the tillage machinery in the field will be showed to deepens the students' understanding of this machinery.
