This course aims to have correct calligraphy art concepts made in students' mind, making students understand the history of the origin, development and evolution of Chinese characters, grasp the artistic characteristics of various calligraphy styles and analyze the characteristics, connotations and causes of calligraphy in the past, and helping students learn to appreciate classic Chinese calligraphy from both the physical level (stroke, character, ink, and composition) and the spiritual level.
