This course introduces us excellent Chinese paper-cut animations, such as Pigsy Eats Watermelon, The Moon is in the Well, and Gamecock. Chinese paper-cut animation combines folk paper-cuttings, New Year Pictures, puppet shows and other art forms. It’s a well and highly developed art shape. In the paper-cut animation, we can learn how the Chinese traditional art is integrated into the animation, and how it blends with Western paper-cut animation, which contain a fuller and more diverse aesthetic connotation.
