In the famous city of Tianjin, with 600 years of history and culture, there exists an ancient yet modern school - Tianjin University. It was founded in 1895, initiating the first modern higher education in China. Formerly known as Beiyang University, Tianjin University was the first modern university in China. After the reform and opening up, Tianjin University has become one of the first key universities to be built under Project 211 and Project 985. Tianjin University has three campuses, 27 colleges, 75 undergraduate majors, 42 first-level master's degrees and 30 first-level doctoral degrees, and the university has strong research capabilities. This course introduces students to the university and its Weijin Road campus, where they will visit the university's history museum and library.
