Costume is "a history book worn on the body", telling brilliant culture in silent language. As the core module of the cultural course, the clothing culture course aims to help students understand the visual artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of Chinese clothing, and introduce the evolution of Chinese clothing to international students in the form of combination of pictures and texts. This course will help international students understand the historical context, cultural origin and lifestyle behind Chinese clothing by explaining clothing types, clothing materials, clothing styles, patterns and meanings, so as to further explore the mapping between clothing and culture. It lasts for 1 hour.
