This course is divided into two sections. The first section mainly explains the five common styles of Chinese calligraphy, namely, the seal character style (major and small seal characters), official script style, regular script style (Wei Tablet and regular script), running script style, and cursive script style (Zhangcao and Jincao). In this way, students can have a better understanding of the general evolution of Chinese calligraphy, and it is also convenient for students to choose their favorite style of calligraphy, so as to learn Chinese calligraphy better. The second section explains the basic tools of calligraphy writing, focusing on calligraphy writing techniques.
