This course is divided into three periods. In the first class, an introduction to Chinese paper-cut will be given, which will mainly illustrate the concept, history, subject connotation, various use and form techniques of Chinese paper-cut, so that students can have a comprehensive understanding of Chinese paper-cut. In the second class, the basic skills of Chinese paper-cutting will be trained. The basic skills of paper-cutting will be introduced through practical operation, and the poking-out method and diverse folding and cutting methods will be demonstrated in detail. The third class will introduce the doufang(generally refers to a side length of 25-50 cm painting and calligraphy works) design of the case "春"（refers to the Chinese character spring）, and in terms to comprehensively introduce the design and production of a complete work.
