Beijing Opera, also known as Ping Opera and Beijing Opera, is the most influential type of opera in China, with its distribution centered in Beijing and spread throughout the country. Peking Opera has a set of standardized forms of artistic expression in literature, performance, music, stage art and other aspects. The roles are divided into sheng, Dan, jing and Chou.
