Baliao acupoint is the key to open the door to pelvic floor diseases. This lecture is going to begin with pelvic floor diseases, and to introduce acupuncture and moxibustion therapy with overall regulation advantages on the basis of explaining the characteristics of Pelvic floor dysfunction PFD (Pelvic floor dysfunction PFD), and to focuses on the location method and precise and deep puncturing technique at Baliao acupoint. The lecture will explain the location method of Baliao acupoint from anatomy, measurement location, and fingertip touch. The lecture will introduce the techniques of precise and deep puncturing of the Baliao acupoint from the aspects of needle selection, puncturing angle, arrival of qi, electro-acupuncture operation and safety of deep puncturing the Baliao acupoint. At the end, the lecture will summarize the significance of the clinical application of Baliao acupoint.
