Chinese Calligraphy is a traditional art of writing with brush, paper and ink. It enjoys the same important status as painting in the history of Chinese art, and is an important part of the national cultural heritage. This course focuses on what Chinese calligraphy is, the font classification of Chinese calligraphy, the strokes of Chinese characters, the four treasures of the study, the characteristics and functions of Chinese calligraphy and other contents for explanation and introduction and on-site display, leading students to have a basic understanding of the long history, extensive influence and practical significance of Chinese calligraphy.
