The course "Hua Yao Hua" Cultural and Creative Industry Project of Hunan University was lectured by Zhang Duoduo from Hunan University. It takes the Hua Yao Hua poverty alleviation project carried out by the College of Design and Art of Hunan University and Baishuidong Village as an example, focusing on the creative transformation and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage in poor ethnic minority areas. Relying on digital video records and original ecological information collection, this course explains to students how to integrate various forces of rural industry revitalization in the process of collaborative innovation and to tell the story of Huayao to the world. This project shows the practice and responsibility of teachers and students of Hunan University in driving innovation by design and promoting traditional culture by aesthetics.
