节日篇:苗族姊妹节
Course Syllabus 课程章节
1Every year from the 15th day to 17th day of the third lunar month, Miao people celebrate the annual Sisters Festival. During the festival, women put on beautiful clothes and colorful silver accessories to show themselves to their heart's content, while men willingly serve as their background. Most of the Miao people's settlements have the custom of celebrating Sisters Festival, but most of them have been lost, except Taijiang County, the world's first Miao county on Qingshui River, where this custom is still kept as a festival to show beauty. Sisters Festival is known not only as "a festival hidden in the stamens of flowers", but also as the oldest Eastern Valentine's Day because it has helped couples after couples since ancient times. This course aims at taking the sister Festival of Miao nationality in Guizhou as the starting point, leading overseas students to experience the festive atmosphere of Chinese ethnic minorities and appreciate different ethnic customs.
